 A resident of Pittsford, New York, Ali Meyer works in acrylic paints thinned to a watercolor consistency, producing “semi-abstract to very abstract” paintings. Her work includes mixed media of charcoal, charcoal dust, ink, or collage with acrylic, and monotype, which produces one-of-a-kind paintings.
"My style has evolved from very realistic into a world of fantasy which takes you into textures, shapes and color. I find people or faces creeping into the paintings at will."
In juried shows, Ali Meyer has received 7 “Best of Show” awards and 34 “First Place” awards. |
