 Ruth Haas' painting career started over fifty years ago in Schwabisch Gmuend, Germany, where she received her early schooling and training as an artist.
Her work is done in a “wet-in-wet” technique and her colorful paintings convey the joy she feels when she paints.
Ruth’s favorite painting subjects are of scenes from New York’s Adirondacks where she lives part of the year. The East Coast and New York Finger Lakes Region are also often reflected in her beautiful paintings.
Ruth has had several one-woman shows and received many awards for her work. Her paintings are shown in collections all over the world. Ruth says “painting is a real joy for me.”
Her painting relays the beauty of nature. The joy of this beauty can be experienced by the viewer of her work.
